Industrial Access has committed to providing its technicians with a state of the art learning system, allowing them to take training online, at the office, and on the job. This training consists of 3 types of learning. Online self study usually on safety practices. Classroom training & Seminars and Experiential Learning which is usually completed while doing the work on site all combine for a full educational and training experience.
We are using a Learning Management System called LMS365. This is a Microsoft Sharepoint application which easily provides access for students to learn and to track their training. In the near future there will also be a testing capability and other features that are being added to the LMS. All training is now aligned to a Competency Framework which describes the necessary competencies and levels of ability for each technician job role and technician job level at Industrial Access.
